Hi all.
Ripping out knackered bath today. It's up against cheap cladding/leaking from shower, not supported.
I intend to fit new on on 2x1 roofing battens or even 4x2 (I have plenty of both).
All videos I have seen they are not using standard silicone anymore.
It's all BT1 or CT1, OB1 etc.
What do u recommend for first fix seal onto the battens? A suitable clear hybrid??
Then once that has cured what shall I use as final seal that is visible?
I have always used Dow Corning white or have things moved on?
I can see the advantage of using a hybrid on battens as it's will also act as a 'grip'.
Also will be using a smear of LSX on overflow waste.
All iitems need to be Screwfix stock.
Cheers
