Is it worth using a double pole Fused isolator and taking it down to 3a or manufacture spec when off lighting circuit?

Hi all. I have x2 backyard outside lights to go up and deciding whether to put them on downstairs ring Ona switched double pole fuses spur (incase water gets in etc) Or do I feed them from downstairs lights and use standard light switch or similar? Cheers

I think it depends on the quality of the 10mm pipe tbh. If it's dented/marked then surely a compression would be better? That's just my thinking. It is easily accessible. I'm just converting two 10mm rad connections that are constantly getting hit when hoovering and cleaning. It's endless...

No way can I take up the existing joists. I've removed all floorboards. It now runs 6m by as above taking in a bathroom and landing. Easiest option is to cross existing joists instead of laying:cutting a a peice of timber on top of each existing one.. I just want it to be quiet and solid.
