That's interesting, you mentioning that it has a reverse thread, as the taps turn opposite ways to operate. i.e. the cold turns anti-clockwise (I think) to come on, and the hot one turns the opposite way. The turning of them is really light, and they do not pressure tighten like a standard tap. Why do they make these things so difficult to maintain though. Just had another go, can't get it off. What would you guys do if called out to a job like this?

It's the best I could think of at the time. Open to suggestions for an improvement though! There doesn't seem to be much out there for a light that's constantly on, loads of sensor options though.

Thanks for the reply. It did come with a thread adapter to allow it to fit a bath tap and an adapter to the inner for a larger diameter bottom washer (as these reviver taps are just the basin ones, with these 'extras' included), but it still doesn't reach the tap base to allow it to work.

I wouldn't really want to damage the small threaded cap, as that is what keeps the top in place (when it's not stuck solid that is). And sticking it together with silicone would cause me grief next time I need to get at it.
