I've given up on the plinth idea. Tested it and it didn't look great so that idea is out. I am putting down 6 mm plywood plus some vinyl flooring which is 3.2 mm thick. There's a reason why I didn't use 9 mm ply which is to do with the steps into the bathroom and concern for potential trip...

Great thanks. Will give it a go. A friend suggested lowering the soil stack a tad. I think he was suggesting I'd hire him to do it. Another option if I get stuck

O.k thanks. If I cut the soil pipe a bit closer to the wall I think I can gain a slope of 5 mm.

An off set connector? Just to be clear the midpoint of toilet outlet and soil pipe is the same height i.e. 180mm. Wondering if I either need to buy a different toilet or put the current one on a piece of ply wood to get a downward slope.

When measuring the horizontal offset height between a toilet outlet and a soil pipe where do you measure from? Do you measure from the floor to the toilet spigot inside lip or do you measure from the floor to the outside edge? Or is it better to measure to the mid point of the outlet? Trying...

That makes sense. Think I'll give the WC-F21R a go. Strange that they don't make all connectors with a jubilee band.

One more question if you don't mind: Regarding the WC-F21R, is it o.k to do a horizontal 90 degree bend with this one or is it better to buy a flexible pan connector that is angled? Thanks

Thanks for recommendation. That looks perfect. Our bathroom is on first floor. Had a mouse lurking about once but that's about it. I intend to design the box so the panels can come of easily so hopefully it will work well. Thanks for info.
