    At my last house I used grit sand to level soil, put a membrane on that then the fake grass. No issues. I’m doing some now and plan to do it the same way but inside a timber frame of 3x1

    Does the unit have no back panel and the boiler fixes straight into the wall behind? Daughter wants her boiler in a full height unit (230x60cm) in this corner. Would the heating engineer want to fit the boiler first then she can put the unit over the top or does the unit want to be in place...

    Your ton bags will measure more like 800x800x800mm rather that a 1mtr cube so you would need more than 6.6 to get 100mm over 66mtrs.
