    Tyre valve stem leak

There is absolutely no reason why the tyre bead will be reseated differently because the other unbroken bead will hold the existing tyre orientation. Minor differences will have negligible effect because tyre shops are not exactly high precision places. Their work could be wrong in the first...

    Tyre valve stem leak

Once the tyre bead is broken, it has to be reseated.

    Tyre valve stem leak

The only thing I noticed was you never got started. Stop wasting your time. You will stop like he did, and sulk.

    Tyre valve stem leak

Here's another option for someone nutty enough. I am not.

    Tyre valve stem leak

    I am considering this option.

    Tyre valve stem leak

Obvious to me from all the cheap tyre shops I used in the past. They would never skimp over a 10p valve. Their profit margin is ridiculous: bit of air, 10p valve, and bob's your uncle, £10, £15, £20 please.

    Tyre valve stem leak

I see no connection between tyre change and oil change. An official dealer declared a full bill of heath for my car. Maybe they know more than you do about things? Although they recommend coolant and brake fluid change. Can you still remember radiator and caliper change only the other day, and...

    Tyre valve stem leak

Not usually. They do that only when there are issues. For instance, they might add sealant if I go back and ask for a free fix. I don't know, but I suspect they used the wrong valve stem size for my wheels or something. It's not clear to me why it would be destroyed by stem rotation. Presumably...

    Tyre valve stem leak

Well, here's one instance of a valve stem that doesn't interact with anything but the wheel. In this case, the only thing that prevents stem rotation is the friction to the wheel.

    Tyre valve stem leak

Kinda obvious don't you think? What tyre shop would reuse old valve stem? Maybe that's something your shop did?

    Tyre valve stem leak

For the life of me, I am unable to work out why the stem can't be rotated/turned. Useless google is not helping with contradictory and irrelevant info. So, is the reason the stem can't be rotated because of the stem rubber to alloy wheel friction, or something else is involved? I need a cut open...

    Tyre valve stem leak

People think it's me doing it. In fact, they do it and blame me for it. They are in luck because I just don't care.

    Tyre valve stem leak

So you don't read? New tyre, new valve. Try explain again.

    Tyre valve stem leak

I bought new tyres and I have a leak on one of the stems around the stem rubber. I am hoping to reseat the stem myself. I am thinking of rotating the stem or pushing the stem partly in and pull it out again to dislodge/move any debris. Anyone with hands on experience of stems can offer some...

    The study of a radiator

The guy's car got flex. Of course my excellent braking and reaction helped. It cost me radiator and OEM coolant. I said the guy was good and pro. I never said I wasn't good.

    The study of a radiator

OK, young man, run along while adults talk serious. The only flex I know is the other guy's bumper cover. It didn't even get a mark. I don't like greedy people who use underhanded methods. The intent here is to cut their profits.

    The study of a radiator

Yes, I would definite hit them if a child or animal jump in front of the car. This is how people often die. You can see the bouquets and condolence notes in many places. I could quite easily make you rear end my car if I choose. But then insurance will accuse me of dangerous driving and pretend...

    The study of a radiator

Of course I did. How was I to know it was a trap? You think I am a mind reader or something? My thorough assessment of the process and the entities involved were conducted after the event. Immediately after the event, I gamed out all possibilities and there was no escape from the trap. The trap...
