I see no connection between tyre change and oil change. An official dealer declared a full bill of heath for my car. Maybe they know more than you do about things? Although they recommend coolant and brake fluid change. Can you still remember radiator and caliper change only the other day, and a big jug of ATE SL.6?

If you had a leaking valve on a wheel just a couple of weeks after paying someone to fit it, what would you do?

I would decide shop incompetent, and don't let them touch my stuff again.

It was obvious to me, I don't recall getting a tyre changed in the last 37 years and not getting a new valve.

Obvious to me from all the cheap tyre shops I used in the past. They would never skimp over a 10p valve. Their profit margin is ridiculous: bit of air, 10p valve, and bob's your uncle, £10, £15, £20 please.

You really should look at some of his other posts to see what a wind up he is. He ONLY starts threads to start an argument and he’s never taken advice from anyone, in fact, he often claims to do the opposite to any advice he is given. Going to a tyre shop to get that valve leak fixed is the last thing he will ever admit to doing - he'll probably claim to come up with making a tool to change tyre valves without taking the wheel off the car…..

I’ve stopped in case you haven’t noticed. As I said, I thought I was helping him but as I suspected, he doesn’t want help, just an argument. You’ve made three posts in this thread, none of them giving any advice whatsoever to the OP. Exactly why are you bothering to post?
