Door at the bottom of stairs

I mean you're not building a new build house, so the regs can be toned down for extensions and works to existing buildings at the BCO's discretion.

Labels for Wall hang Storage bins

Just cut up some card and write the contents on it and stick it in that slot at the front, the one that's designed to take a contents label.

Door at the bottom of stairs

In theory the grey box should be clear of any door swing, whichever way it swings. But see what your inspector says, they're (usually) pretty reasonable and have to take into consideration it's an existing building not a new build, also what was it like before? You don't need to make it any...

    Awesome Quality Damp Meter

Do you work for this company or something? Why are you so obsessed with this bit of Chinese rubbish? Perhaps it's the heat getting to you.

A cease and disist order on building work.

Probably fed up with a build taking years? How long's he been building it? I know of a few round here, one a two storey detached garage monstrosity that's been going for about 10 years and a mahoosive new build house that was started in about 2007, then halted in the 2008 crash, then it started...

    Awesome Quality Damp Meter

Looks like a load of crap like all damp meters. Only a fool relies on the results of one of these devices. Building Surveyors love them. No self respecting good damp expert will have one in their kit.

    Lintel help needed!

You'll have to pay him to determine the strength of the lintel , why should he do it for free?

    Lintel help needed!

I doubt you'll get anywhere identifying it, you're talking about 40 years ago. Besides digital copies of lintel specs didn't really exist back then, certainly not for Joe Public it was all physical manuals so that data will have all been lost to time. The guys manning the tech helplines won't...

Retro fitting external insulation on garden room

If going the Kingspan route I would fit the foil face facing inwards, then the breather membrane on the face of the insulation then your vertical battens.

Retro fitting external insulation on garden room

He just wants to insulate his shed a bit woody he's not building a house.

    Glow Plug light illuminated.

The Megane was passing every year until 2016, when I got rid of it.

Retro fitting external insulation on garden room

Is the acoustic roll you're proposing suitable or will it deform? Seems like an odd choice of insulation. In any case the breather membrane goes on the outside of the insulation behind the battens.

Retro fitting external insulation on garden room

How would you use Rockwool without any timber studs? If you want to avoid studs then you'd have to go the rigid insulation route, you still need a breather membrane and for the cost it would be daft not to, vertical battens & horizontal cladding presumably?

    Protecting these pipes?

Yes but given their unconventional runs unlike the perfect vertical pipes you always see these things fixed to you'll have to get a little inventive/maybe get the angle grinder out if you want to get 100% protection eg...

    Glow Plug light illuminated.

It passed every year, that said it was around a decade ago now, I don't know if the rules have changed. AFAIK only red warning lights or lights that could indicate a problem with the emissions or safety will fail. But I would give your MOT station a ring and ask if it's an automatic fail or not.

    Single Ply Roof Blisters

The blisters, whilst unsightly are probably fine providing the membrane is intact. Probably a result of moisture left in the roof beforehand or poor adhesion.

Hide Speaker Cable from Speaker to Floor

At the end of the day, the speakers (unless the speakers were Bluetooth and battery powered (which would be madness for SS)) need a cable.
