The external wall is wet all way through- surveyor's report. It needs a year to dry out. Freeholder's responsibility. I said find out cause with his bricky mate then need to monitor that!

Read it, seems to recommend pulling out or cutting. Doesn't absorb weed killer very well. I mean I could try another spray with it flat or just pull it out

So opening window would help, howcyou check the seal? Damp meter in wall would help?

Don't have access anymore to flat. It's a bedroom with one window (one in picture) mid sized room. There are no other marks like that anywhere in room just ones in picture. Don't think another picture gives any more info. Just circled spot on dark pix

Looking at a flat with a mate, are these marks damp? Anything to worry about? The estate agent was evasive about freeholder's name too
