    Ive removed bar & chain then clip / clutch drum etc & see there is a cut out notch in the clutch drum. The spring leg needs to locate in that cut out notch. Then when engine is running & clutch drum spinning the spring leg also spins thus operating the oil pump.

    Done. I cut away a little of the plastic that the brass jet passes through. Managed to get a hole through it & see daylight. Put it back into the black part & touched edges with soldering iron & made a good contact with black plastic & brass part. Short video...

    It’s well blocked. I’ve removed it from the plastic part as had no choice. Any reason why I can’t leave it out & just refit the black plastic part ?

    Ah ok cheers. Sometimes when operating i do hear say AIR being blown back into the tank. I expected to here a gurling noise BUT i dont, i hear air when bulb is empty. This would then explain why the primer takes 3/4 tries & becoming empty

    Sometimes when pressing the primer bulb i dont see any fuel, i mean i could press it 3/4 times & nothing. After a while i do see fuel but it seems to be a different situation from my other petrol tools that i use. So do you think its the rubber flap under the primer bulb at fault.
