Best way to join waste pipe to gully

A picture says a thousand words so what's the best design to end these 3 waste pipes properly in the gully? And I also think this is not the best gully: - the top square part sits on top of a gully pot but it tilts to one side, meaning water easily overflows to the side, - the diameter of...

How do you fit a bath panel?

The template will only help to cut the panel to fit around the pipes, it won't help to put the panel into position?

How do you fit a bath panel?

For a straight front bath panel, it's quite easy: measure and cuto size, then slip the top of the panel under the lip of the bath, screw the bottom of the panel to a batten... But what happens if you have pipes at one end of the bath? you can't really place the panel in front of the bath then...

    Can I reuse tap tails?

Would I need olives at all? The tails are connected to an isolation valve using compression fittings, thus olives, then onto 15mm copper pipes. But if I am reusing the tails I would not even have to remove them from the isolation valves?

    Can I reuse tap tails?

I am going to change the monobloc tap in a washbasin. It has flexible tap tails connecting it to to the water supply. Do I need to buy new tap tails in addition to the new tap or can I unscrew the tap tails from the old tap and reuse them onto the new?

Need to know everything about tap tails...

http://www.judgeelectrical.co.uk/images/central-heating/thermostatic-radiator-valve-2.jpg Turning this upside down? It will look very odd, especially since it has the TRV there, but it may be just the right solution! So having the radiator valve upside down wouldn't affect its thermostatic...

Need to know everything about tap tails...

I doubt copper pipes would bent by 180 degrees. The correct way to do this would be to move the radiator further to the side to give more space for the pipes and fitting.

I will need to change shower bath mixer tap and kitchen mixer tap. Both connect to 15 mm pipes. I have bought the shower mixer already but not the kitchen tap. I assume people do their research and then buy. Do you use the internet at all for researching or just visit shops? I'm finding these sites rubbish, with very little information. How long until you make your purchase? Clarification in case the above is not clear: When you decide to buy a...

Cooker Hood Vented and Terminated in Loft ?

It's amazing how some so-called professionals can be stupid or plain lazy. I had an electrician fit a bathroom fan with duct in the loft. When I told him I couldn't see any holes in the soffit from outside, he said the duct terminated in the eaves and that's how it should be, that he had...

    Ferroli filling loop won't work

Must have been a blockage as I left the valves not fully opened and the heating system filled up.

    Ferroli filling loop won't work

It got fixed by itself in the end. I left the filling loop slightly opened, went to bed and was woken up at 1 am by the mother in law telling me that the pipe was leaking. It turns out that the boiler had filling the central heating system to a pressure of around 3 bars. So either it takes...

    Ferroli filling loop won't work

I emptied all the water from the radiators and afterwards the boiler gave me a low pressure error. I opened the filling loop to fill up the radiators again but nothing happened. Mains water was on, water was going through the boiler (opened hot water tap) but it seemed no water at all went...
