Hi I have a problem - the lock on the drivers door won't unlock very easily. It locks fine but try turning the key the other way and it's really stiff and feels like the key is going to snap off. This doesn't happen on the other side. Has anyone had any experience of this? Thanks

No the clutch is fine. It's only when slightly accelerating or foot off the pedal that the whining occurs, put your foot down and it goes away.

How much would you be talking of to replace the aux belt?

Hi when our 2000 mk4 fiesta had it's mot 5 months back we were told that the nearside front anti-roll bar linkage has slight play in a ball joint (and that the offside rear brake pipe has slightly corroded). What noticeable effects would the ball joint have on the driving of the car? Thanks
