Thanks everyone for their help on this! Had to get someone in in the end! Turns out both the fuse near the boiler and the mcb had blown so had to them replaced on Monday!
I've tried that, no luck, the plug in the socket is a shower pump that i had installed last year! For some reason that's the only socket working fine! Socket must be connected straight down to the mains!
Nope sockets on first floor not working! I did try have a look, but can't tell if I've gone through a wire! I thought I was well awar from the cables, unless they turn in the wall! Boiler not firing up at all, no power to it whatsoever!
Here's what's tripping! Guessing the boiler must be somehow linked to the 1st floor sockets! Also attached a picture of the boiler cabinet and some other wiring that's in there!
Cheers rocky, I've tried that but still it still triggers the mains for some reason! Can't get any power on the boiler or the main thermostat next to it!
Hi, trying to replace an old thermostat and can't figure out the correct wiring. I've tried different combinations but I always seem to trigger the mains switch! I've attached a picture i took of the old one before removing it! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Superstar mate, i'll try switching the wire and see if that works, if not i'll try a different dimmer switch! I'll report back here in case anyone else has the same issue! Thanks for taking your time and drawing all the wiring for me!
Thanks mate, says up to 10 bulbs but have 14 in my room, will that still work? Also yes both switches are connected to the same lights, does that mean I can only have 1 dimmable switch? Thanks
Hi all, I'm having a little problem getting my led lights to dim! I installed some dimmable led lights, and attached a dimmer switch! Light go on and off, bit won't dim! I've attached some pictures, am I doing something wrong? There's 2 switches in my room, so far I've only replaced one to a...
