    Leaking gutter replacement?

I've fixed the mother in laws which is similar. I put the ladder on bricks on the side facing. It's not very easy and on reflection I'm not sure a DIY person would not find it easy to do. I'm use to a ladder. There is a bit of reaching involved. Probably best to get someone in.

    Hangovers

As you get older you are less able to cope with alcohol and the effects on your body. Yeah... In my 20s I was drinking 5 nights a week and could be paralytic on a Friday night, and still get that for work on a Saturday morning. Things start to change around 30+ with hangovers becoming a problem...

    Leaking gutter replacement?

Remove and clean including rubbers. I find that the rubber deteriorates so sometimes you need to replace the rubbers. Good ladder and a ladder stay will be required

    UPVC sliding door issues

Think I would wash glass with some white vinegar and water. If there is a manufacturers residue on glass water will attract and I can see a square shape of condensation. As for damp I don't know. Buy a cheap humidity monitor as see what's happening inside.

    Beko washing machine tub failure.

These plastic drums. I follow a guy on YouTube that's trying to bring everyones attention to what's happening to washing machine manufacturer. I'll link at the bottom here for interest. To answer. Can you not make a metal plate with two small nuts and bolts through and fix to the side where it...

    Leak through chimney

I had similar. Had new lead and still leaked. I could not recreate the problem when I got the hosepipe out. I fixed it eventually with foam inside loft. I think it's stopped the wind blowing the rain under tiles.

    Flashing lines on wall

We never know what's in the testers pots. It's not always the same formula as the shelf tins.. Maybe what's in the tester don't like going over the stain block

Sanding in grooves - Doors and skirting boards

Yeah. That will do. Wet paper is dustless and very quickly takes off the shine. I recommend because I think that will get you on the right path. Wrap around something like wood or something to get in groves. Maybe use some dry paper as well. Crack on

Just get it fixed and keep an eye on it. Probably just got disturbed when window was fitted. Unless it continues to get worse with worrying signs id not want to doing anything further. Jmo

Mid terrace front room, hallway floors + stud wall on heavily corroded steels

I'm no expert but this is what I would do. Get a structural engineer to look at it and discuss the report. I'd do this myself then decide on next step.

Sanding in grooves - Doors and skirting boards

Sponge pads used wet and wet and dry paper used wet. You only need to rub a bit to create a key so maybe you are doing to much. Would take me under an hour by hand for a medium room. If you remove any sandy surface grit in old gloss that's all you need to do. Use zinsser paint surface cleaner...

Door hinge wear, needs replacing but why?

I've also been disappointed in hinges getting worn out quickly.. Other than wedging door to keep stable and swapping hinges. Also lubricant ever 6 months with silicone spray helps. I don't know what the answer is

    Filling / repointing around drain

Sand and cement is what I'd use. You can buy it ready mixed in bags from DIY so you just add water. I'd use wide masking tape or duct tape on slabs to keep clean. Fill. Leave it a few hours and damp sponge and polish off with a scraper. Pull tape. Damp sponge and final polish off really smooth...

    Dead Dewalt Battery Revivial

Yes it could work but the problem I see is if you have a dead cell. That will continue to pull power 24/7 causing battery to go flat again and not charge. I've seen videos where the dead cell was replaced. It's up to you if you try this but these batteries are dangerous and a faulty one would...
