Poor advice pal, all wb oilers come mid setting, and often its just a matter of setting up air ratio to put it to 18 or 25 kw. Agree with simond, wave is only compatable to the heatslave 2 combi. And agree with dan, oilers dont modulate

I dont think you get a flow adapter with the manifold supplied which is probably the part causing the leak. In any event its a very easy fix, shouldn t take you much more than half hour

op you d have saved a pot load by getting worcester out from the start!! they do a one off fix fee. following your DIY route with no experience or correct kit for measuring co2,oil pressure etc I imagine you ll be spending a few more quid before its actually fixed :roll:

its a common fault...worcester bosch must be gutted at having bought them out!! although their commercial boilers are very good, the domestic ones are crap! if you phone Worcester they ll do it for a fixed price! It'll be the plastic bottom manifold

intelligent controls are compatable with the cdi classic and compact range of conventional boilers sorry meant system boilers both top boilers

check your shower is compatable with a combi. did your old system take hot water from a cylinder? or was it a combi? does the boiler go to reset?

expensive the pumps on them, in fact all parts are for ideal boilers, a pcb is well over £200 so much for a cheap boiler, they get their money off you in the long run :evil:

i ll bet any money your people checked the flue gases on max but not minimum. that will be the problem, it should be 9.8 max and 9.2 min. think they ll find minimum at about 7-8 it sounds like a beginner playing the trumbone?

if the expansion vessel is faulty, the press relief valve opens and loses water outside, you need to check that the 15mm copper pipe coming from the boiler through the wall outside isn t dripping. so fill it again and check that which model boiler is it plse

no, not all call vaillant and get a fixed price repair? have you any paperwork or do you know exactly what parts need replacing?
