Hi,the waste pipe etc is above the drain level,and we have checked the waste pipes from the sink and also had cameras along the drains/waste pipes leading into the house....no signs of blockages....we have an air release valve under the sink....so all in all its a mystery to us.

hi Jackrae...absolutely nothing else....I dismantled what I fitted...and reassembled it all again the exact same way...and immediately the gurgling stopped ..possibly some great coincidence or something but it has definately stopped now after weeks of gurgling :-)

update guys....while waiting for my mate who has a powerful wet/dry vac...I decided to in the meantime dismantle all the fittings I had done and refit making sure all the connections were done up firmly...and now the gurgling has stopped completely. ...so I assume something previously was not as...

I will look into the pump idea and wet vac,.....I can live with the gurgling but not sure the Mrs can. 😁😁😁
