    you could use something such a kingspan or if its just to add a bit more stud wall of current wall then fill with the insulating and board over. Oddly the timber yard i use supplies 50 or 100mm thick solid foam at a reasonable rate so handy when getting timber, some one may correct me but...

    If i do it myself I'll go the Kingspan K18 route or a stud wall 100mm inside should only be about £400max But would prefer the external done but prices seem stupidly high

    Minimum insulation level for attic conversion

    I was requested by BR to put 100mm and silver multi foil on the non room side. On the dormer it was 96mm above roof and 25mm below.
