Removing lead flashing from rendered wall

Thanks Leadworks, that's really helpful. I'm planning to take the lead out on Sat- it may be too cold to do the rendering, but that's another story.

Removing lead flashing from rendered wall

Thanks 1990, v helpful. Catlad, do you mean just cutting the lead off at the edge of the wall and rendering over what's left, or do you mean using the Stanley knife to get in deep to the recess? Thanks.

Removing lead flashing from rendered wall

Hi I have taken down a knackered conservatory attached to my house. I am left with two pieces of lead flashing where the conservatory roof met the wall. I can see that the flashing is chased into the render, but I don't know how deeply (we never had any problem with water getting in). What's...

2nd coat of Dulux quick dry exterior gloss- must I sand again, and can I use satin instead?

Hi, I have just finished painting my fascias, and some rafters which come through the wall and are exposed behind the fascias. I sanded, then painted over the old paint with Dulux trade quick dry primer undercoat 2 in 1. Then I applied 1 coat of Dulux weathershield quick dry gloss, in black...

Noisy plumbing -possibly related to Megaflo - Added video

Sorry- I don't know how it happened, but the second video is not my set-up: that is someone else entirely! Really sorry. Will edit main post. First video is me though. And having watched 2nd video, I def don't have a pump, and I don't think I have a bypass valve (if that's possible). Sorry...
