    AIr in hot water loop- Back boiler

    Yes there is a small header tank and the system is definetly indirect. I've heard about putting a hose on the expansion pipe for the CH header tank and kind of back filling the tank, and pushing air, debris out this way. Is this an option? cheers

    Hi, I'v got air in the hot water loop that goes into the hot water cylinder. Its part of a coal fired back boiler. The pump is only on the ch loop, so does this loop normally just work by gravity? any ideas how to get it working after having drained it down fully? thanks
