    boundary moved by neighbour?

People won't realise just how awful this woman is. She is a vile piece of work. I could write a book about the things she has done in the few years I've been there. She is an out and out bully and has targeted just about everyone on the Street at some point. This isn't about winning or...

    boundary moved by neighbour?

I've sought legal advice and it contitutes a civil trespass. I have the legal right to ask her to remove the fence from my land, to rebuild the brick pillar she knocked down (which lead to the remainder of the wall falling down) and for her to remove the strip of resin bound driveway she has...

    boundary moved by neighbour?

Well.... here is the original building plans And here is the measurement as of this morning So...... she clearly has grabbed it. This fits in with the rest of the houses on the road.... ie the boundary of the house on the right is the left hand edge of its driveway.

    boundary moved by neighbour?

Well she put the fence up when the house was unoccupied as the sale was going through. Basically, tenants moved out in October and it was vacant until we completed in December. The day we moved in..... there was a brand new fence and half the flower bed had been taken.

    boundary moved by neighbour?

The pic with the for sale sign is an old image off Google. Im not moving, but I'm having a new roof. The soffits and fascias on the gable end are totally rotten and need replacing as part of the roof. She won't allow me to put scaffold on her garage roof to do it and says ill have to work off...

    boundary moved by neighbour?

Think u might be right Nitro . Just seems a bit odd that the pillar at the front garden wall wouldn't mark the boundary.

    boundary moved by neighbour?

This is what the land registry hold. House outlined in red is the house on the left in the above pics. Does this make it any clearer? This is nowt to do with me trying to claim land.... but the owner of the house on the right is a total nightmare and won't allow proper access to my gable...

    boundary moved by neighbour?

There's about half a brick of space inside the garage if u turn left. The gable wall of the left house is more or less in line with the line of the driveway. If the house on the right wanted to construct a fence along this line..... Do u think its legit. Looks to me like they're nicking a...

    boundary moved by neighbour?

The house next door...... u can see the boundary lies along the edge of neighbouring drive..... I think it would be the same for the adjacent properties..... and hence A) rather than B).

    boundary moved by neighbour?

By way of looking at this image...... where would you say the boundary is between the house on the left and the one on the right... A) at the edge of the driveway of the red one.... or B) at the left edge of the brick pilar Heres another image.... I think its the edge of the driveway and...

    Guttering manufacturers

Can anyone recommend decent quality rain water goods? I've used Floplast last time, and they just seem a bit thin and flimsy. Are there any thicker better quality makes...... floplast seem to dominate the market.

    Bathroom Ply Subfloor and Tiles

OSB swells at the edges if it gets wet. If u replaced the floorboards with osb u might have to beef up the subfloor with noggins. U would also have to make sure the floor to wall junction was tanked if its in a wet area. OSB and chipboard aren't really appropriate for tiling even with a...

    Bathroom Ply Subfloor and Tiles

I always use a decoupling membrane direct onto floorboards, then tile straight onto it. Never had a problem and done a fair few.

    Metal stud walls

Seriously? How's it worse than CLS? I've never used it..... but its considerably cheaper than cls, hence my interest in using it......

    Metal stud walls

I've never used metal stud work before. The studs seem to be either 50mm or 70mm. I assume metal stud walls are narrower than wooden stud walls. Or am I looking at the wrong stuff?

    Crossing over a 22mm and a 15mm pipe

I need to cross a 15mm pipe over 2 parallel and vertical pipes..... one of them is 22mm, the other is 15mm and they are 15mm apart. Will a normal 15mm cross over do the job, or is there a better way?

    Velux at front

Would it not come under PD once the completion cert is issued? I wonder if I just approached the planners and asked the question, what they would say..... don't wanna draw attention if they will refuse it and then cause them to come 'checking'. Another option is just to risk it and hope it...

What i mean is once the completion certificate is issued and the 'officials' have left....... what would prevent me fitting a velux at that point?
