Oh heck. I've absolutely no idea. I've just moved in. This is an upstairs toilet. I've no clue where that pipe runs to reach an outside drain.

Any advice please on replacing this small run of missing grout? I don't know the exact colour as I've just moved into the flat. Light brown is the best I can say.

Wondering if there's a cover that could hide the hole around this toilet waste pipe? It might have to be flexible because the pipe is sitting just above the skirting.

Just a small cavity to what I think was breeze block. It is an inside wall. I live in a flat in a converted mill. I think all that was left were the external stone walls and slate roof. From what I've seen my guess is the internal structure has been constructed with breeze block then...

The machine was left by the previous owner, so I assume the bolts have been removed. I've levelled the feet and it feels quite stable. It's only moving a cm or two during fast spin cycles. I'm restricted for space in a flat and have no outside drying area, so the only place for a tumble dryer...

I should be clear that when I say the wiring looks fine, what I mean is all the correct wires are going into the correct terminals. I'll replace the fan and see how that goes.

I've checked the wiring in the light switch, isolation switch and extractor fan. It all looks fine, so is the most likely problem the fan is just broken?

That's a neat solution. I presume the board is just screwed to the floor along the front edge.

I suspect it's almost impossible to stop a washing machine from moving about, especially when it housed free in a cupboard, but any helpful tips would be very much appreciated. I've seen mats online like this one, but they are expensive and do they actually work...

Thanks. That all worked out just fine. All level now and means no fiddly cuts or adjustments to the bath panel. It's one of those 15 gloss MDF slabs and I didn't fancy trying to make small adjustments.

Hi. I'm looking for help on how to level an already installed bath. It's only out by about 5mm but this is making fitting a bath panel and plinth just that bit trickier for a DIYer like me. I've tried lowering the supports at one end but nothing gives. Is there a knack to it or a special tool...

This Lamona oven has been fitted too far to one side and the drawers are catching on it. Should I be able to reposition it further to the right?

The door isn't going to be opened so that single sided seal should be OK???
