Hello group, my Mothers Worcester 24i RSF will only supply DHW for approximately 20 seconds, then the water goes cold, she then has to wait a few minutes before the boiler will fire up again, pressure is steady with no flashing LED. Any help would be much appreciated. :) Regards Otto, West Cumbria

Update: New expansion vessel fitted in loft, boiler OK for a week, now I've got an error code 7, but I think that is unrelated to the initial fault and that's a starter for a new thread. Thank you everyone for all the advice, much appreciated x

Hive is now working, wired receiver as described, all is good, thank you guys for all the help I really do appreciate it. Tomorrow I will tidy all the wiring up and fix thermostat & receiver to a permanent location. Big thanks :)

Tested the receiver today by connecting it directly to the mains via a plug, appears to work fine, amber light and green heating light. Just need to connect it to the boiler now :(

Would It be easier for me to wire this direct to the boiler in a convenient place, and just leaving the old thermostat out of service?
