    I'm gonna guess they both drain into the soil pipe and when it's windy you get a pressure differential causing the noise. My toilet water fluctuates slightly during strong winds

    Kiln sand is what you need. Pressure wash, allow it to dry and then on a dry day brush kiln sand in. Summer is the best time. Trust me, any moisture makes the sand job and real pain. Once had a customer insist I did it with showers forecast. It rained and it was like brushing mud

    If the tiles had been set out correctly then you could have had a bigger cut up to the ceiling. That gap now needs plenty of filler. Build it up with a decent powder filler in stages

    If it's not siliconed in situ then simply raise the feet until it's tight under tiles, check for level, tighten down lock nuts on feet and silicone edge against tiles with bath full of water.
