Why? So to do this I'd need to drill a 20- 22mm hole to fit the conduit. Even though this is a better job. In the real world are sparkies really doing this or are they just shoving thr cable in the wall?

Internally please? Externally I plan on just using a blob of silicone to prevent any water ingress.

Cable is is one from TLC It says that nominal overall diameter is 9.8mm, so will either go with 12 or 14mm Once the cable comes through the wall can I just use some silicone to seal the hole or do i need to use other additional protection?
