Probably a Pliolite based masonry paint like Dulux "All Seasons " Or Leyland Tru guard.

    Quick question (or 2 )

You can put an extender in the paint, like Xim, Owlatrol or similar, this will slow the drying of the water based paint and allow you to keep a wet edge longer, similar to oil based.

    Primer still tacky

Most knotting is shellac based, you can get it in clear as well as the yellowy coloured stuff. It will say on the bottle what it is.

    Quick question (or 2 )

Rub the door down and dust/wash off. Apply one coat of the Zinsser 123. let that dry and then apply your water based gloss. I use Armstead, this is made by Dulux/ICI and is very good, its better than the Dulux. Screwfix sell it as does the Dulux Dec centre.

    Primer still tacky

You've done it the right way, the knotting has to go on raw wood first then when that's dry you prime the woodwork. It an stay tacky over the knots for a bit. You could rub some meths across the knots which will take off a bit of the shellac, assuming its a shellac based knotting.

What has Caused this Door To Peel?

You can use water based gloss over oil based undercoat. Sand it down well first and after your first coat of gloss gently sand that as well prior to putting your second coat on.

Painting a Fibreglass skin Composite Door

Fibreglass is one of those surfaces that may want to make paint peel off. Zinsser 123 or bin are primers that will adhere to this type of surface allowing any other type of paint to adhere to that without coming off. As a decorator I would rather undercoat after the primer and gently flat it...

    hairline cracks and peeling paint

Try and get as much off as you can. Any that's left, sand the edges to feather them off and apply a mist coat. When dry, fill everything that needs it, the cracks, the old paint edges that's left etc. Use a powdered filler not ready mixed. Tourpret or similar. Gently sand down and apply further...

    hairline cracks and peeling paint

If the emulsion is coming off that easily then you need to keep going and take it all off. Its either never had a mist coat first or it may have had a coat of PVA prior to being emulsioned. PVA should never be used where your going to paint. The cracks need raking out and filling with a powdered...

What has Caused this Door To Peel?

Too many coats of gloss on gloss without an undercoat in between and lack or rubbing down can cause this.

    Water-based 'Stain Block'

I did yes, it was a white emulsion painted ceiling with a water leak from boiler in room above.

    Water-based 'Stain Block'

I used the Zinsser 123 last week and it didn't stop the water stain at all. Went over with Zinsser Coverstain and that stopped it.

    Damp Spot Question

The damp patch is not in the same position as the gutter, any water would still flow down the room. Its likely to have a cavity wall also looking at the age of the house, so it would be difficult for this to be penetration from outside.

    Damp Spot Question

Could be damp due to non movement of air around the chest of drawers. I think you will get away with it to be honest maybe with a bit of damp seal on it.

    Damp Spot Question

What is the plasterer doing in the room ? It doesn't look like a damp patch resulting in water ingress from outside to be honest.

Could anyone help me to identify this old anaglypta wallpaper please

Looks like a Supaglypta, which are more heavy weight than the Anaglypta. Most of the patterns have been discontinued. All were made by Crown. You can check the Crown wallpaper website to see if its still available.
