@JohnD replying to old threads? LOL I ended up buying direct from hozelock The tap adapter was not available ANYWHERE All others sold everywhere were the wrong one. It was only £2.50 delivered I think, so not bad.

Super confused now I'll open up again and see if I can find the earthing cable.

Oh... the yellow cable I'm referring to. I assumed that was the earthing cable?

I did exactly what @EFLImpudence told me - the difference being that the earth cable is connected to the same location as in the old one. See his pic below:

Thanks for the replies guys. I ended up order 17mm from Amazon. Fairly cheap at just over £5 each. I think we need wedges in all windows anyway... So I'll be buying some for replacing around the house. QUESTION: are the wedges glued on or can I just prise them off? Thanks.
