No there is no reciever On the fan. The terminal block on the fan I've just noticed has 2 live wires coming out tho. One red one brown. So I presume one is the light and one the fan. I can just seperate them and that should sort it I would think.

I was going to go for the remote as well but was worried it would keep getting lost. Surely there must be some way of doing it if it says compatible with all there fans. I emailed the manufacturer about it yesterday but they still hasn't got back yet.

That looks very smart I must say. Problem is I've been looking into them a bit and the price of these things is unbelievable from what I've seen. Am I right im looking easy over a grand for one? No way can I justify that to heat one room im afraid.
