Do these have a thread on the outside or inside? Can't tell from this pic: The shower bars require a thread on the outside of the above fitting from what I can tell.

Are these not universal then? Would they not work with a different bar shower in the future? The thing that thew me with the Screwfix fixings was that they appear to have a different thread (male/female arrangement) to what most bars ave.
