Are my Grundfos pumps configured correctly? Old one pipe system, with 16 radiators powered by a 48kwh regular boiler. My bills are £800 a month.Help.

It does seem a big boiler, but I have always assumed that the installer specced it correctly. He was a specialist in one pipe systems. Some of the radiators are a bit bigger, but some are smaller. It's a large house though, 5 bedrooms spread across two wings.

Are my Grundfos pumps configured correctly? Old one pipe system, with 16 radiators powered by a 48kwh regular boiler. My bills are £800 a month.Help.

The boiler is in an outhouse, feeding into the cellar as shown in the third pic. There are three grundfos pumps, one feeds the hot water tank and the other two are on the out and return valves of the pipe system. About 10 of the 16 radiators are controlled by Honeywell TRVs. The boiler is a...

Are my Grundfos pumps configured correctly? Old one pipe system, with 16 radiators powered by a 48kwh regular boiler. My bills are £800 a month.Help.

I was just reading the manual for the two Grundfos pumps I have on the heating system, and the manual suggests using constant pressure mode for a single pipe setup. It was previously set on constant speed 3. My bills are currently £800 a month, so I am desperately trying to make sure...

My boiler reads 25.5 BAR pressure on the display, and I cannot figure out where my filling loop is. Any ideas?

Yeah I saw that. I have a gap where the gage should be...it has not been fitted.

My boiler reads 25.5 BAR pressure on the display, and I cannot figure out where my filling loop is. Any ideas?

Ah thanks. That's the drain pipe. I did think that might be the filling loop at first and took some water out, but it just pours into the drain.

My boiler reads 25.5 BAR pressure on the display, and I cannot figure out where my filling loop is. Any ideas?

Forgive my ignorance, but surley there must be some feed into the boiler for this to work...from what I can see from the connections, there isnt actually a cold water feed into the boiler. I may be being stupid and not seeing it. But on the pictures I sent, can you mains in?

My boiler reads 25.5 BAR pressure on the display, and I cannot figure out where my filling loop is. Any ideas?

I have looked there and there is nothing obvious to me that would be for filling. Pictures attached.

My boiler reads 25.5 BAR pressure on the display, and I cannot figure out where my filling loop is. Any ideas?

It might be under gaurantee - I didnt have it installed, I bought the property last year and this was done by the old owners. Its not very old but may have just passed the warranty phase. Can you point out which pipe looks disconnected to you?

My boiler reads 25.5 BAR pressure on the display, and I cannot figure out where my filling loop is. Any ideas?

Model name: Worcester Greenstar 8000 Life (GR8300w 50 R NG). It is a heat only boiler, not combi. We have a hot water tank in the cellar that the boiler fills. Why would it be saying 25.5 BAR....there must be a way to check or rest this? Surely there must be somewhere in the system to add water?

My boiler reads 25.5 BAR pressure on the display, and I cannot figure out where my filling loop is. Any ideas?

I have an old Single Pipe Central heating system, being fed from a newish Worcester Greenstar 8000. I've included some pictures of the boiler and the connections underneath it. My first question is...it says 25.5 BAR pressure, that cannot be accurate, can it? Is there a way to double check the...

The pipe coming off my T&P valve from the hot water tank has water coming out. Is this normal? How can I diagnose if there's an issue?

Is that likely to be because of an issue or is it expected behaviour? It's hard to judge but it looks like it might have been running for a while with how wet the floor is.

The pipe coming off my T&P valve from the hot water tank has water coming out. Is this normal? How can I diagnose if there's an issue?

It's not pouring out but it's a slow trickle of water. I have never noticed this happening before and I'm not sure how long it's been happening. The water tank is a Joule Cyclone indirect 250l. If I turn the red part of the valve, it releases hot water as I persume its supposed to. The water...

My toilet flush mechanism has broke. Can you confirm what the part I need to buy is called?

Hi Andy. I've almost done this. But it seems that this syphon does not fit onto the pipe between cistern and bowl. The syphon is the correct height generally, but only if the pipe was not as long. Is the solution to hacksaw the pipe so it's not as long?

My toilet flush mechanism has broke. Can you confirm what the part I need to buy is called?

Thank you. I can see how everything fits together now. It does look easy to do. That will impress the Mrs tomorrow when she can flush again.

My toilet flush mechanism has broke. Can you confirm what the part I need to buy is called?

I have actually bought the syphon you linked today, as well as coupling clip. I was going to take the cistern off tomorrow and attempt to fit it. I'm not sure the clip you linked will fit my toilet. It's and olfashioned one so possibly not?

When you say decouple the bell piece, do you mean these two parts?

Is this not an easy an easy job?? I am mostly clueless, but can follow guides well enough. Am I better getting a plumber in??

Thanks Andy. Is there a way to figure out if this is the correct size/shape/fitting etc?

My toilet flush mechanism has broke. Can you confirm what the part I need to buy is called?

Someone has pulled the flush handle too hard and snapped it off from the mechanism. I've tried to google but a lot of the results don't match this type of toilet. What is the actual part called that I need to replace, so I can buy it and find the right tutorial?

Honeywell EvoHome help. Possible to have the Evohome controller call for heat in a multi zone setup?

Eventually I will upgrade more of the radiators, but right now I am working with what I have. Is it not possible to have the EvoHome call for heat?
