Sometimes the centre part of the end of the fulcrum arm wears on these - the part that pushes on the diverter valve pin. Try sticking a new 5p piece (just the right size ! ) on the end, ensures full pressure on the pin and return of properly working DHW ! I had one of these fulcrum arms in...

Tony, you are correct code 06 is faulty DHW thermistor. When I replaced this it took a while to reset the boiler and clear the error code. I did get a lot of screwy characters on the LED display which eventually cleared (with a few taps here and there !) I've a feeling the problem lies...

They are indeed, it fires up all bullish and modulates down, keeping the temp at a good ol 42Deg !

Hi JJ. just adding a bit of personal experience for ya. I jumped ship and went to met UK blinded by the headline - "Become a Corgi Registered engineer in 6 months" Dont believe this trash - on my course I was the first to qualify for registration and it took me a FULL year to acheive it ...

You should also try cleaning the venturi tubes, stops the APS from bouncing and cutting the gas supply. Another common fault on these boilers !

Checked for correct voltage at terminal G1 as per manual, and also the activation of the APS, sparking at electrode, inlet gas pressure,ignition burner pressure etc as per basic checks. Got to be honest and say I didnt check the voltage/resistance at the solenoids ! Wont be charging customer...
