Hi Good Morning, I got a bathtub drain leaking. As pictures shown, i tried with PT around thread and really tighten it hard but worry to break the plastic pipe, however it still leaks. Any other option that i should approach? Should use a paste instead? >Arrow pointing at the leaking stops.

Hiya, Is there a way for me to turn off the valve off due to the nut (as arrow shown on pic) disfigured? I've tried with spanner, it seem that the metal is soft and it disfigure it rather then turning the whole nut.

Almost there, what done was just to get the angle and the pipe right in position. Tested the waste only slight leak under the bathtub due to the old waste paste, so i got to install the mixer tap first and then paste the Stixall adhesive under that waste/trap. Good idea?

Got this joined... i've cut the copper due to it angle is off. Anyhow managed to get it fit. @gigz that's a good one too!

Any idea how to restore this bits of rust? @denso13 BTW we tried to hit the pipe with a hammer and understand why it does not move, the tap has a square fitted under it.

It fits the modern mixer. Now need to look for the PVC drain trap, which join to a 40mm copper and the end of copper is squeeze/shrink.
