OK. my inflater tells me it's 12v 8 amps

Is it feasible to use a transformer to send current to a tyre inflater (sold for 12v car battery use). I would like to have this set up in my garage. If possible could I please have details of the type of the "mains dropper" I would need to do this.

I am having trouble getting to the "three lines". Is there any other route than via Firefox? Am using the latest Ubuntu version.

Have just updated to latest UBUNTU. Am having trouble opening Firefox. On clicking the Firefox short-cut on the left column I end up with a black screen. The left and top columns remain but, instead of the row of icons for clicking the screen is black and empty.

I have a Phantom 3 Standard Drone. Have recently acquired a Dji controller for the next model upwards Phantom 3 (advanced otl.) Can I use this controller on my Standard and, is there any advantage in doing so?

I'm also using it along with a drone. I find it very useful for this. Have just bought a new battery, charged it to 100%, took it out, read voltage again after 8 hrs, read 86% in the phone window ?? It is still a good buy, for the use I'm putting it to ! ps: the battery was only about £5

I have the above, powered by a replacement battery that is rubbish (runs down without use in about 6 hours after charging.) I like the machine and wondered if I could maybe use it for pix etc. Is there any reasonable way I could link another power source to run this for things other than calls!

I have always used Photoshop but thought I'd try Gimp. Am very impressed with it up to now. At the moment the Gimp files emerge as xcf. I thought I might try using png, files. The advantage being they work in Photoshop and Gimp (I believe!) Am I right here and, if so, are there any problems...

This is a 2014 car with very low mileage. The washers suddenly stopped working yesterday. Have filled the reservoir up today with water and anti frost solution, went out for a run. Tried washers out. no action from the windscreen jets at all. Any advice very welcome.

Need to replace my present cover (for ice etc.). The prices seem rather out of proportion. Can one be made up of DIY materials?
