Yes you can put a plug on but it does need to be acessable i ideally should be RCD protected. Also it must be pluged in outside the "zones" Make sure the 3amp fuse is fitted in the plug. And if it says you need to put it on a switched fused spur then thats really what you should do as it...

I sent my money off a week and abit ago to get registared with NIC, How long does it normally take to get your pre-site assessment to the onsite assessment to getting registration? How long did it take for you?

Can anyone tell me when you would fit a round pin socket and plug. ive noticed they come in 2,5,15 amp rating. ive come across 15amp rated microwaves (combi) before now. would you be able to come off the ring then on to a 15amp round pin socket then plug it in? cheers
