I'm fitting parquet floor on concrete/cement floor, it is flat already so doesn't need a SLC. I'm not sure if there is an DPM underneath the concrete floor but it was built 30 years ago. I have no way of measuring the moisture levels either. I thought of applying a liquid DPM for good measure...

    Reroute soil vent?

Thaks but I won't be touching the part inside the loft and it goes straight through the roof , so I assume above doesn't apply to the change I will be doing.

Thanks both, I'll go with option one and use bends. I am capable of doing this myself but am I allowed to? Does this involve building regs and stuff.

    Reroute soil vent?

Is it ok to reroute an internal soil vent pipe? by doing so I can gain some much needed space in a cramped bathroom. Option1: Reroute the vent using two 45 degree bends to move it to a corner of the bathroom, vent goes through the roof so it will need another set of 45 degree bends to join back...

As the title Assuming there is an earth cable in the existing wiring which is needed to fit LED GU10 units, am I allowed to DIY these myself or do I have to get an electrician to come over? It is straightforward enough to swap these, but I have no way of testing the work or the existing...

Moving electrical sockets 6 inches as shown in images without altering cables , is this allowed?

Thanks At the moment cables come from floorboard around the corner to the bottom of the socket box and they are in the open, and the new location of the socket will be much closer to where the cables are coming out so all wiring will be hidden by the boxing.
