These lights indicate an ignition lockout which will be caused by the boiler not igniting this can be because of several reasons ! like no gas burnt out spark electrodes faulty ignition pcb or faulty ggas valve not opening :D

Try topping the pressure up slightly and checking the auto air vent screw on top of the pump is loose as it sounds like you have air in the boiler :?

BG have an exclusivety on it as they put alot of money into the D & D of it ! it will retail at around £5500 :? They are quite large in size and they do use a sealed stirling engine that comes straight from Japan which also cant be repaired only replaced ! imagine the bill when that goes...

Mate the flow switches are all dud's as they were only designed to be used for Air not immersed in water :lol: And i know what you mean about the Bypass tube same as the PRV manifold :wink:

The low flow could be caused by the cold water inlet filter being blocked so get that checked! For referance it is possible to change DHW Heat exchanger without removing gas valve but it is a bit tight! and i would recomend getting an engineer in ! :wink:

Yes me too mate! Normally the Flow switch which stops these things working! And dont tar all baxi's with the same brush the new combi's ie Duo-tec's Platinums etc are superb :D

Sorry i disagree this is always down to crap (Dirt) in system which blocks up the Plate Heat Exchanger ! This cn be cleaned out or ideally replaced! and then clean your system and put a magnaclean or similar in or it will do it again in 6 months :D

He's on about a Promax combi mate totally differant boiler other than the name :? If it was me i would go for a Baxi Platinum combi which comes with a 5 year warranty parts and labour ! and has won several Which awards and orgi awards ! Superb Boiler :D

In 90 % of installations it wont require a pump to be wired to the boiler or the pump over run kit ONLY wire pump to this boiler if it is a fully TRV'd installation with no bypasses of any sort ie 3 port valve! and a pump over run kit is merely a timer which keepes the pump running for a set...

when you turn hot water tap on is tap symbol lighting up >????
