    Remeha hot water problem

As I said before if it was that you would be getting E7 fault coming up! The filter is on the left hand side of boiler! There is a chrome box with a pipe coming out of the bottom where this attaches to the manifold is where it is! But don't expect to get it out in 1 piece! ;0)

    Remeha hot water problem

Most scale reducers are a waste of time end off! And from experience plate H/Exch don't scale up! It's normally the heating side that gets blocked up with crap! Mangaclean or equivelant are always a good idea though!

    Remeha hot water problem

These plate heat exchangers very rarely get blocked as there is a filter which stops this from happening and if the filter was blocked you would be getting a E7 fault come up!

    BAXI 51/5 PCB ??

If you have power to the pcb and switched live to the pcb and light is still amber ie standby mode as you say then it's almost certainly a pcb fault as if it were anything else to do with the boiler pcb would be red light!

If the central heating fault light is flashing try replacing that as a starter to see if that resolves the problem! Nice easy job as in a dry pocket so no need to drain down! 5 minute job

My advice is to call a qualified gas engineer who can check your gas supply safely! Check your ignition electrode spark gap! Check your gas valves settings using a flue gas analyser!
