It’s on a tp link I am going to run a cable direct from the modem to it tho that’s why I am thinking of doing it I am thinking of going ethernet to do both but don’t know what make to go for.

All sorted now new door contact and works a treat.

Yer there is 4 screws on the back the silver ones have wires off them and the rest have nothing. I did it the same as the one I put in on the front door. So it must be faulty

Yes to the silver screws and than tamper to the brass screw.

Just had a look and tool station sell them for £3 so I will just go and get on tomorrow.

Defo faulty door contact as it’s letting me set it now with the wires twisted together. Don’t know the name of it as I just got it from we’re I got the alarm from.

Ok thanks I will try and twist the wires together and see if it arms and than it’s a new door contact as I don’t have resistors on mine and it’s set to normally closed.

It’s wired mate. I am suspicious of the door contact at fault. As I put power trough the cable and got it at the other end

It’s got a door contact on a timer for the front and than 3 pir set to intruder. I just want it to work when the alarm is set and if the door opens it sets it off no timer just straight off. If that makes sense.
