Water Main - Blue 22mm to Black 22mm

Hi, I'm trying to connect 25mm blue mdpe to my mains water. The mains water pipe near the external stopcock is blue then connects into a black pipe which then comes into the house. I thought the pipe was 25mm so I bought a 25mm equal tee and cut the black pipe, turns out its something like 22mm...

    Fitting internal water meter

Hi, I've bought this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162154939835?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT But am unsure about what connection I require to connect my 15mm speed fit pipe - do I need a 15mm coupler? Or something else? Thanks

    Toilet in garden cabin

Hi, I bought one of these but Im not convinced its right? I put the back on then the olive and some ptfe and tighten the stopcock up - I can pull it off with a little force so its not going to withstand the pressure of water. Is there a chance this doesn't house MDPE as everything else is right...

    Toilet in garden cabin

Hi, Yep all sorted on that front thank you. Just another quickie - is it ok to mount a 110mm swept tee upside down? Why would I do this you ask - please see pic. The plan is to come off for the air vent pipe and also the toilet soil pipe.

    Toilet in garden cabin

Thanks for the info guys, another quick Q.... This stopcock http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Plumbing/d20/Valves/sd2696/Poly+Stopcock/p39751 am I correct in thinking I can use both 25mm and 15mm mdpe? Its just some seem to say they connect copper to MDPE rather than mdpe to mdpe? Thanks as always

Old BT back box which feeds the neighbour as well

Hi, Am I right in thinking BT were supposed to be phasing these old "phone junction" boxes out? Looking to get fttc install in but apparently the line needs replacing (which I knew as its the old line). I thought BT were responsible for replacing these boxes\lines as it comes over the poles onto...

    Toilet in garden cabin

Ha sorry the pipe which comes out of the drain which takes the smell away from the drainage, usually they run up outside past the roof. I guess its because of the gases which are emitted.

    Toilet in garden cabin

Hi, As per many of my posts we're putting a garden cabin\salon in with a toilet. Ideally we don't want a stink pipe running up the outside so I was wondering if anyone can offer some advice on how we can get around this? Ive been to some camp sites which seem to have a contraption which deals...

Electric heaters - what would you reccomend?

Hi, It is proper insulated with 50mm celotex and then insulation on top of that we then have ply and plasterboard. I did the calculations based on the size which came back 1.8kW so 1.5 to start with should be fine.

Electric heaters - what would you reccomend?

Guys, excuse my stupidity but.... You can get panel 2kW heaters for £200 and you can get convection 2kW heaters for £20 - how do they differ as obviously they are both 2kW? Thanks
