    Water supply runs to shower

Just chase it enough for the pipe to fit in the chase and not stick out. I think building regs allow a 1/6th of the wall thickness to be chased at max. Isolating valves you can put them anywhere along the feed, if you situate them were a long run of pipework follows, it might be worth fitting...

Alternative to tiling all the walls?

Well, if you have a shower you want that area tiled at least for obvious reasons. If you just have a bath, then it is good to have at least a splash of tiles around it again for obvious reasons. Same with the basin. Having a room half tiled and painted is purely cosmetic, or could be for...

    Finding the right tile cutter

The cheapest and least messy option would be to get yourself one of those tile scoring tools for like £5, and with a straight edge score the tile and then use some nippers which are like £7 to break the tile along the score line. Same thing when using a dry tile cutter, with cuts like those...

A legal right to water ?

They clean and supply it to you, and by accepting their water you are agreeing not to cause waste of the water they have cleaned and pumped to you. If you had a dripping tap would you expect your water supplier to fix it? Same thing buddy. Sure everyone is entitled to water, as we are all...

    Flueless Gas Fires CO PPM

Unfortunately, the place I have served my apprenticeship with put all their apprentices through gas training, and when they have passed it all, they do not undertake any gas work, nor get put on the Gas Safe register. Seems a bit pointless really, all the stress you go through to then go and...

If you are really struggling and the shower is going in the bin, hacksaw straight through the 90 degree bend on the elbow, seperating the elbow completely in half. Then you stand a better chance at removing the pushfit connectors

Replacing shower - how to remove self seal push fittings?

Or push the rings on the other side of the elbows that are connected to the feeds. Exactly the same layout as showin in the picture with the arrow, but on the inlet side of the elbow.

    Leaking En Suite Shower

My suspisions are the waste. Also, is it a mixer shower? If so were the pipes come out the wall and connect into the shower, are the backplates that sit on the tiles to hide the hole sealed up as water can run down there. Easiest thing for you do to right now would be to remove the plinth...
