Hi sorry to bother you but reading many post and found your answers easy
and straight forward, I am after some advise if you do not mind. I am in
the process of putting in a cloakroom basin, I was wondering if i could
take the waste into a near by gutter down pipe? As it is not going to be
used very much and it will make my life alot easier if i could do this but
didnt want to do it to find i am having to do it again in a couple of
months! thank you
Sorry mate, I'm not sure how to reply by the method you asked this question.
You'd need to establish where the downpipe discharges, if you have a two pipe drainage system or a rainwater soakaway, then no you could not connect into your downpipe. However, old houses do have a single pipe type drainage system, taking waste water & rainwater.
