That top one on temp is safety button and doesn't come off. You need to undo bottom handle then use Allen key to remove grub screw inside.

If it's on an open vent system there won't be a pressure gauge. If it's on a sealed system the gauge would be near expansion vessel. Regards

Question, when you drained and bled the radiators Thurs, did it take long to bleed rads, could you hear the air coming out? Also if boiler us overheating due to lack of water, you would have to manually reset overheat stat.

Turning off the other valve will have no effect on the rest of the system, and will only stop the flow of water through that radiator.

You could just isolate the radiator valve on the opposite end and the radiator will not get hot. To answer questions, 1. Trv is on return pipe 2. You do not need to join pipes 3. You will have to drain from the lowest point 4. Pull collar back towards fitting and pull of pipe. Regards

Sorry, was thinking of different manufacturer. The wave doesn't need 240v supply but does needs low voltage wiring into boiler.

With nest you get a heatlink, you will need to fit near boiler then run 240v supply to heatlink, then a switched live from nest heatlink into boiler RT connection.
