hi i work for the contactor that covers the gas contract in barking and dagenham and we have been told that we can glue together the 2 halfs and mts have supplied a large jubilee clip to hold them together .believe me it does not look good,but manufactuer has sent it in writing that this is ok

Thanks dave great help.The vent and cold feed can be connected to the flow before pump ,is there a certain way to pipe it.Sorry for any stupid questions peter

this sounds that the plate to plate exchanger is blocked and has tripped in the over heat stat.look in to boiler and on the left hand side you will see a rubber covered switch,make sure power is off and press switch.turn boiler back on,if it keeps tripping you have a blocked plate to plate peter

thanks for the replies.i think i will fit a valliant 400 series.On the wiring i will keep the y plan but will the pump only be wired direct to the boiler or in to junction center?Will the switch live be the orange and does this goto connector 4 on the boiler,i can see why i stick to combis alot...

customer wants to change neataheat electronic for a new boiler.I would like some advice please,would it be better to pressurise the system.Also should i fit a system boiler (VALLIANT).Am i right in thinking i would need a pump over run as the exsisting boiler does not have one.Could someone...

pcb common fault on these boilers,fitted loads last year

if i can remember these have a braided hose going to the exp vessel these get blocked and cause this .i know this is true for the se but can not remeber if it the same with this unit pete

hi i f i can remember these boilers have two flow switches that get stuck they work on a plunger.would not hurt to drain the boiler and clean them.also check to see if continuty is ok with multi meter pete

Hi dave thanks for the reply,have taken both valve off and the are open and checked to see if any mesh filters in the valves like the britony 80 but nothing.do you know where to get any manuals on these boilers thanks pete
