    why the op has only said it works ok. first thing you need checking OP is the inlet pressure I:E what actually comes in from the main. the u guage should be on the meter, then turn the hob on, check you still have 21mbar, then check the boiler again you should still have 21 mbar at the meter...

    yes the box can, but the bracket attached to it can't as the pipework passes through it. the meter would have to be removed to get it in place.

    thanks my own site is gasregd.com and .co.uk had been on page 1 of google for sometime but has slipped badly. the new one set up by the muppets plumberservicessouthampton.co.uk i'm a gasman predominately hence the id on here and i also do electrics, plumbing and solar hot water.

    thanks will have a look. the real issue is the SEO on my own site is crap, employed a company to do the work, 3 weeks and all they have managed is a 2 page website with links to my own!! and their effort isn't working either no traffic through it except me and a customer who has looked at it!

    doesn't matter as most yards give a price for clean and a lower price for dirty (foam covered) tanks the cooker etc will get you pence rather than pounds but still worth taking if your going.

    you say it only happens when all the rads are in use, this would concur with gordons dianosis as hot water expands and the expansion will increase with more volume of water heated.thus a partial deflation of the expansion vessel can cope with smaller volume but not the larger volume of heated...
