Hi Guys
Could you let me know what inhibitor you'd use on my system?
I'm pretty sure there isn't anything in it as we brought the property with it drained down, unfortunately it was a repossession so I've no idea of the system's history.
the system is open vented (f & e tank in the loft)
Boiler is a Baxi Bermuda BBU 57/4m with 7 radiators on it.
I don't have much info on the BBU other than that model number.
Reading the forums, I can put in the inhibitor one of two ways
1) shut valves to a radiator,
drain the radiator,
re connect to closed valves,
add inhibtor through bleed screw,
make tight and re open valves
2) Shut feed to the F&E tank,
Drain system down again (not a bad idea if water is black??)
add inhibitor to now drained tank
open feed to the tank
I'm leaning towards the second one personally
any help appreciated
