Fensa don't have any answers either, I know fitters who subcontract for a large company, they have 7/8 fitting teams, all of them have refused to do the card. Can't see that company forking out £120 for PAYG on each job

Whats to say companies will convert? The fees involved aren't feasible and will only force them down the LABC route. So companies that haven't bothered to do the card are still able to certify jobs online?

If you're a novice then I'd advise you to cut the sill in, fix down, then put the window in and fix window to the sill. Run a bead of silicone in the corners and along the sill before the window sits on it.

Only 3,5,7 pane doors will enable you to have a traffic door that folds same way as other doors. If poss make the opening 5m and go with a 5 pane. An outside chance would be a "New Wave Door" I'm sure the same principle applies though regarding the traffic door option

The restrictor is screwed in, remove the screws in the frame and door, the restrictor will come off. Purchase 2 door magnets or hook n eyes to pin doors back
