Heat exchanger Venting pipe for Viessmann Vitodens 111-w

Can anyone tell me what hose I need to be able to connect to the vent of the heat exchanger to bleed the air . Will a garden hose fit this vent? Or do I need a smaller size. I only need a couple of metres. Should have been left but previous owner must have taken it. Pete

Bit of a long shot, but has anyone fitted a composite front door manufactured by Value Doors

We are thinking of having a new composite door supplied and fitted by Value doors. We don’t have any knowledge of the types of construction and what we should expect and lookout for except to say this door has a wooden infill. Any thoughts or suggestions would be very welcome and much appreciated.

Can anyone offer information about this cover?

Well my idea of a quick look is shelved. I take on board all the comments and I value my back over my inquisitive nature. It’s not a problem and hope I never need to have it lifted. Thanks for all the info. Pete

Is it a leak where meter is ?

I’ve just been down this same road with Thames Water. Call and ask for someone to come and check your meter. Also, get a customer contact number from the call. You will need to be able to shut your stopcock during the investigation. If the meter is ok but still shows a flow when you turn the...

Boiler kettling, is it the heating pump?

One more thing I should have said, run a magnet down the fill/expansion pipe at the tee connection as an extra check for possible blockage down from the F&E tank just in case your pump / system is short of water, don’t think it should be but it takes only a couple of mins so worth doing. Good luck
