    couple of choices for ya Steve, Undo nut under crutch head, take out broken inners and replace head with PTFE etc, you'll have a non working stopcock but you'll have water and you may not have to go shopping for that, or the same but replace the inners for new, shopping trip needed for that...

    You can feed 3 rads from 15mm flow and returns, yes, it would be better with 22mm but it will work from the 15's, no more than 3 Rads though

    It will be controlled from the boiler, you will have summer mode and winter mode also most likely a time clock on the front of the boiler with pins you pull out (on) and push in (off) also a clock logo for timed and an on for constant, I would advise having a wireless programmer installed...

    I would suggest you get a plumber o look into it as the vent pipe looks a little low in the tank, could it have dropped ?

    Furnco, any better ideas ?

    Got a bathroom to do in a couple of weeks, Soil branch runs under bath in Cast, Basin and bath waste in copper (nice scrap :-) ) question is do any of you have a better connection method to copper and cast for plastic than Furnco's, Never had an issue with Furnco's but thought I'd ask anyhow.

    Push-fit joints and radiator leaks

    sorry to here you've been cowboy'd, drain down and pressure test would be a good idea, if you hand tighten the joints and they still leak they will need replacing as push fit only needs hand tightening.
