Furnco, any better ideas ?

Got a bathroom to do in a couple of weeks, Soil branch runs under bath in Cast, Basin and bath waste in copper (nice scrap )
question is do any of you have a better connection method to copper and cast for plastic than Furnco's, Never had an issue with Furnco's but thought I'd ask anyhow.

If its 35/42mm copper branches then id use 1 ¼ or 1 ½ inch mechanical couplers.
If its 4inch plastic to cast then either a furnco or a DC1
