Id start from as close to the stack as poss on the horizontal pipe with a 1 1/2 mcalpine connector and renew the lot in plastic for two reasons

1- copper will corrode and eventually have holes in

2- scrap is worth a fortune and you may even make a profit on the job

Looks about 33mm give/take.
looking at the connection on the bath waste the connector looks like 32mm one end and 40mm the other end.

why not cut the horizontal pipe fit a 32mm compression coupler and then
run the rest in solvent weld pipe up to bath/basin.

the pipes are the old imperial type

so the horizontal copper pipe is 1" inch (internal diameter)

the vertical cooper pipe is 3/4 (internal diameter)
