just curious what you pros do with prepping the bathroom floor.... wbp 18mm at least... even if it raises the floor higher than next room? same height wbp in mm to match the next floor? im thinking strength is more important than the two floors being same height, so sacrafices have to be...

hi im due to start tiling an ensuite floor laid with wbp. do i need to prime the surface 1st or tile away with suitable flexible powder adhesive, or will the bag instruct what the best primer is for the addy??? if so any recommendations, thanks

thats going to be the toughest part!

if you use board you should use drywall adhesive to stick it solid!

30mm of grout..... ouch :x

tiles 7mm plus approx 2-3mm adhesive, 9.5mm board should do it.

could you take the top row of tiles off and replace with new ones and cut accurate with the ceiling. may work out cheaper than a spread reboarding skimming etc.....

hi, i need to level half a kitchen floor up about 6-7mm to meet the other half of the floor. its an extension and that floor seems ok except its higher than the other half. the part i need to raise is also covered with vinyl tiles and tips on the best or easiest way to remove these? advice...

if its diy purposes and you dont want to call a plumber, try the jg push fit iso's..... get a little wet still but quickest route :wink:
